Happy Midsummer/Feast Day of the Baptizer/Freemasonry’s B-Day/Astronomical Alignment

June 24th is Midsummer, the celebration of the summer solstice (longest day of the year), the Feast Day of St. John the Baptist (Mercury-Hermes, the Lord of Summer), Freemasonry’s Birthday (June 24th, 1717) and currently (2022) a fantastic astronomical alignment in the morning, eastern horizon (visible to the end of the month).

Da Vinci paints St. John the Baptist (ca. 1513) as Hermes or Mercury (qua the Hermetic, Alchemical androgyne), the divine messenger.
